Groups

If you wish to join a group but there are no vacancies, please contact Vice-chair Beryl using the Contact page, New groups will be started when several new members are interested.

All groups are different, but each one flourishes on self help. Any contribution you can make is always appreciated e.g. hosting, leading a meeting, offering lifts, helping to make refreshments etc. whatever is appropriate to that particular group. Please remember it is not down to the leader to do this every time..

Groups are self financing, so the cost of hiring a venue, if necessary, will be met by the group. If refreshments are provided, please remember to make a donation to the host (usually 50p).

Car sharing - passengers, please offer the driver the contribution, agreed by your group, towards petrol costs

It is important to notify the leader if you cannot attend a meeting or if you wish to leave the group.

These dates and times are simply a guide. Many groups meet at times to meet the wishes and needs of the group. If you are interested in joining a group but the date and time is not convenient for you, please contact the leader as the times may be flexible.

If you don't already have the leader's contact details , and the group has a Group Email shown on its page, click on that to bring up the contact form. Otherwise contact via the Groups coordinator on the Contact page.

Our valued group leaders are invited to attend a Group Leaders Coffee Mornings occasionally, as a thank you from the committee. It is a chance to chat and exchange ideas.
