Description: Writing for fun is a small friendly group writing just for fun. Each month we take turns to choose a theme and everyone writes a story or poem to read aloud at the next meeting. We agree on a a set number of words for our stories eg - up to 1,000 or 2,000 or sometimes exactly 500. At our meetings we read our stories and discuss them, whilst enjoying good company.
Level of Knowledge or Skills Required: Just a love of writing and sharing our stories with each other.
Recent activities: Some of our recent themes have been "Diamonds, Rubies and Pearls", "Old Postcard Story", "And this is the room where it happened" and "The Lost Tower – a Poem"
