Venue:  Meeting place is the village for that month with information being emailed out to the group.

How it works:  Mainly working in pairs members volunteer to research a village then present a tour of the village to the group.  The visit usually starts by meeting in a café/pub for coffee and ends at a café/pub for lunch.  The café and pub are selected and pre booked by the team leading that month’s visit.

Group members need to let the team know if they will be attending the visit, if they need a lift and if they are staying for lunch.

Level of knowledge or skill required:  None, just a interest in local history and the ability to do some research, visit the village and plan trip.

Outdoor visits for this year are planned from April through September.
