Venue: A place decided the previous month. The walks are normally within a 15-mile radius of Uckfield.

Description of Group: Meeting at 10am at the venue. Walks about 2hours… sometime managing a cup of tea somewhere!

We try to walk some where fairly local, but venture a little further out sometimes.

We are not a hiking group and walks are usually easy - wear sensible shoes for the weather!

We are just looking at and for wildlife - birds, animals, butterflies wild flowers etc.

Level of knowledge or Skills Required: None of us are experts and it’s just a relaxed friendly walk.

We had an interesting walk on the Osprey Trail around Arlington Reservoir this morning. The weather was kind to us and we managed to see various waterfowl and also a beautiful kestrel. Tea and hot chocolate to finish.

Buxted Park. Lots of fungi and woodpecker & field fares.
