Welcome to Uckfield u3a
Welcome to Uckfield u3a which was formed in the Autumn of 1997 to offer learning, leisure and social activities for retired and semi-retired people of Uckfield and the surrounding areas. We are part of a world wide organisation which began in France in 1972 and there are now more than 1000 groups in the UK, with 15 in East Sussex.
Uckfield u3a has currently around 450 members and we offer around 100 different activity groups. These are self-help groups, each led by an enthusiastic member, and they give an excellent way of following new interests and making new friends.
The 2025 Christmas Quiz, with mince pies, tea or coffee, was enjoyed by many. Vice-Chair Beryl based the question topics on our many groups.
