Welcome to Uckfield u3a

Welcome to Uckfield u3a which was formed in the Autumn of 1997 to offer learning, leisure and social activities for retired and semi-retired people of Uckfield and the surrounding areas. We are part of a world wide organisation which began in France in 1972 and there are now more than 1000 groups in the UK, with 15 in East Sussex. 

Uckfield u3a has currently around 400 members and we offer over 80 different activities. These are self-help groups, each led by an enthusiastic member, and they give an excellent way of following new interests and making new friends.
